Dr. Alford was born and raised in a small town in Illinois. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Southern Illinois University. She went on to get her DMD at Southern Illinois as well. Dr. Alford completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program focusing on implant dentistry while at Southern Illinois University. She has been practicing for almost 25 years in the Greenwood Village area.
Dr. Alford is a member of the Metro Denver Dental Society, Colorado Dental Association, American Dental Association and the American Society of Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry. She and her husband, Rick, live in the Denver Tech Center with their daughters, Madeline and Ava and 2 dogs. When she is not attending her daughters’ activities, Dr. Alford likes to hike, snowshoe, bird watch, practice yoga and travel.
Dr. Ruzo is originally from Dallas, Texas, and moved to Colorado to practice dentistry. She attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. She earned her DDS degree at UT Health San Antonio followed by an Advanced General Dentistry residency program at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
Dr. Ruzo is extremely passionate about participating in dental mission trips and has traveled to several countries to volunteer her time—it was actually a mission trip to the Panama that sparked her initial interest in dentistry. She is proud of her Hispanic heritage, having roots in Central and South America, and is very excited to be able to offer her services as a bilingual speaker to the Centennial community. In her spare time, Dr. Ruzo loves to cook, play sand volleyball, and practice yoga.
